The Crucible
In 1953, when Arthur Miller's The Crucible'' opened on Broadway, its metaphoric implications were clear. It was the era of Senator Joseph R. McCarthy and the House Un-American Activities Committee. Miller's play about the Salem witch trials of 1692 was inspired, Miller said, by that crusade. A new film version of The Crucible,'' now available on video, hasn't lost any of its fury, relevance or sting.
There's stark beauty in Andrew Dunn's photography and production designer Lilly Kilvert's meticulously re-created Salem. And there's an awful, piercing truth in the performances of Daniel Day-Lewis, Winona Ryder, Joan Allen and Paul Scofield as members of a community destroyed by guilt, paranoia and betrayal.
Director Nicholas Hytner doesn't soften or cosmeticize Miller's tale -- it's often uncomfortable to watch -- and he draws an emotional pitch from his actors that helps us understand the mob fury and irrational fear that make a situation like the one in Salem possible.

The Simpsons Movie
Do you like animated comedies that have made families laugh for years? If you do then The Simpsons Movie is just the movie that you have to see. This movie has colorful characters that most families know of with a joke every few seconds. The humor in this movie is for just about everyone, rude jokes, stupid jokes, or even useless jokes that are still funny. With being a famous TV show that has made it to the big screen, the jokes are going to be much funnier.
The reason that The Simpsons became a movie or even a TV show was the comedy inside it. The Simpsons TV show has probably used every type of joke that can be used and in the movie the writers only used the best. All together the movie was a comedic explosion with all it has, pig poo, the ball of death, avalanches, or even one of the best pigs ever in a movie. This movie has done what others have thought of doing and didn’t. No movie could have tied the above listed all in the same movie without screwing it up.
The Simpsons wouldn’t have been anything without the many colorful characters. Some of this is a little rude but perfectly blends into the comedy. The movie was one that didn’t leave out any characters without throwing in a funny joke in or 2. Anyone can enjoy the gags in this movie, but everyone will enjoy the all around stupidness of Homer Simpson. All around, very few movies can have these main points while being a family favorite. The only people that I could see not liking this movie would be would be the older people who watched the older Simpsons episodes. Many will laugh, many will cry, but most of all everyone will love the movie for what it is.
To those of the few people that have no like of The Simpsons, then forget you. They all say that it was a rude movie, but that rudeness ties into the funny moments. Some would say that the humor in the movie is all around stupid and to everyone else, they like that kind of stupid comedy. Sure this may not be the best movie for kids, but 9/10 adults would laugh at all the stupid and rude humor. If you don’t like the Simpsons movie then that’s fine by me, go watch your bad animated comedies that will never be as good.
Now do you the viewers have an answer to the first question. If you do then I believe that all will agree with me and say that this movie is one of the best animated comedies to hit the big screen. The Simpsons Movie would have to get a rating of 9.9/10 for this critic. By far this is one of the best cartoon movies that made me laugh for hours on end. Not many movies are made like this with most of the jokes is stupid things, but if they keep me laughing for hours I hope it will do the same to you. By Shane C.

Though I agree with you, The Simpsons Movie was a comical movie that kept me interested the entire time (which is hard for someone like me), I believe
This was a very good movie but your way to repeditive and what is the reason for the 9.9/10......Just give it a 10...Jerome wrote this

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1

Since vampire mania swept the globe with the release of “Twilight” back in 2008, the Twilight Saga has grown from good to OMG!!!! “Breaking Dawn” didn't break any box office records the first weekend it came out, but it didn't fare too poorly, either. Breaking Dawn estimated to have earned $139.5 million on Friday and Saturday, the fifth most lucrative opening weekend in Hollywood history. Twilight: Breaking Dawn was released on Friday the 18th of November, and after beating my way through the crowds, I went to see it on the Friday night. Based on the content of the books, I was expecting something really special, and I have to say, that’s exactly what it was! Breaking Dawn was absolutely spectacular! I couldn’t believe how long the film lasted; I even shed a tear when Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) was completely crushed that Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) was “dead”. The movie Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is a very strong movie because the special effects are on point; the music adds different moods, like suspense and clam, and the best one yet the cast.

Eric Leven and Tippett Studios are the guys who made the wolf pack come alive. The scene was filmed over three days in a lumberyard with cardboard cutouts to represent the placement of the rendered wolves. Once the animation began, Tippett took great care so details like the texture of the fur and positioning of ears for each wolf told a story on their own. The special effects team was not only responsible for the making of the wolf pack they were also in charge for many of the background shots in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.

There were many powerful and emotional times in Breaking Dawn and they had to somehow show that then just in the acting. In this movie the music is very helpful, the music adds different moods to help the audience get that feel that oh no something is about to happen or oh my gosh she going to die. The music Breaking Dawn had used was a sound track. Music such as Thousand Years by Christina Perri and It will rain by Bruno Mars was used to create the moods that were needed. For insist when Bella was giving birth towards the end it was a scary moment so they had to play some type of music to show that so they used Love Death Birth by Carter Burwell to show that this moment is not a joyful moment.

I don’t think that director Bill Condon could have found a better cast. You know how you go to watch a movie and the cast really suck and they don’t do a very good job working together or the chemistry is off??? 00Well this was not this at all because Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are together in real life the chemistry is not fake it is real. Even though Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart are not together in life they still do a great job showing chemistry. I really think that this cast was great they all worked together to make a great movie.

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 was truly a great moie with awesome special effects, great music, and a well put together cast. Bill Condon had made many good Twilight movies before this but this one for some reason was the best. It was a great movie to watch if you like vampires and wolfs. This movie is full of drama and humor. If you want my opinion, this is one of the best movies EVER!!!

The Crucible

Imagine being accused for something you would never do, and having the choice of truth or life. The film, The Crucible was an amazing depiction of the play. The playwright was Arthur Miller, who wrote about and the Salem Witch Trials which occured during this time. The actors, Daniel Day-Lewis and Winona Rider really made the movie as emotional as it was and the music also set certain tones in it. In the movie, The Crucible, the music plays different songs to get you in the mood. The acting shows how the characters feel their and keep in character well.
As you watch the movie in awe and wonder, the real thing that gets you going and feeling in the mood to watch the film is the music. The music sets all of the emotion and passion in the movie, and keeps you wanting more. It gives you a suspenseful feeling, or it can give you a scared feeling. It might even give you a joyful feeling, but it’s not all music you know. In The Crucible the music has no words, it’s all compositions made for just the movie. The music would actually be called scores. It also helps you see the real emotions in the characters also.
The characters in the movie really look like they feel what the actual people were feeling in 1692 during the Salem Witch Trials. Daniel Day-Lewis played John Proctor and he looked like he had went through hell. He looked as if the situations that had occured actually happened to him. He seemed like he actually had his wife be accused and arrested, and he looked like he had all of his friends die. Abigail, on the other hand, really did look like a crazy young woman. Abigail was played by Winona Rider, and she really had us all believing she was an individual with real psychological problems! Their lines and chemistry with each other was so real, yet they both seemed as if they didn’t want to be around each other. The line that really got me the most was said by John Proctor. He said, “Because it is my name! Because I cannot have another in my life! Because I lie and sign myself to lies! Because I am not worth the dust on the feet of them that hang! How may I live without my name? I have given you my soul; leave me my name!” This powerful line brought me to think that he is really passionate about himself and how he looks as a Christian. Lying really got to him and he wasn’t going to sign a legal document showing everyone that he had sinned. He was too good for it.
The scenes and screenplay of the movie had it’s ups and downs i must admit. The costumes and set design could be a little disturbing to other. The look of John Proctor’s teeth rotting in the canvas of his gums and Elizabeth’s dry, cut up, and dirty skin really made me just think, “Ew.” Although, it did bring out the feel of how much they went through and had to live with back. It was disgusting, but accurate. Also, the scenes where people were hung really almost brought a tear too my eye. I must say it was a bit too much for me to see. When Giles Corey, a crazy old man, was getting crushed by hard mounds of stone it just looked like too much! I couldn’t take it. But again, it made me realize the reality of the Salem Witch trials and what everyone had to go through to either keep holy and die, or just, lie and keep their life.
The ending of this film really made my heart smile. The last three people to be hung in the Salem Witch trials of 1692 really went out with a boom. As they stood there thinking about their demise, they were at peace. Rebecca Nurse, Martha Corey, and John Proctor were all content with feeling and were happy to be put to rest and go to where they belong, heaven. All that they had done to try to stop the stories and crude actions of the witch trials was finally put to rest as they waited for the loose to be put around their neck. But, as soon as you think they’re just going to be put out, Rebecca just starts saying the Lords prayer. “Our Father, who art thine in heaven,” then Martha comes in, “Hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thine will be done,” and John chimes in, “on Earth as it is in heaven.” You hear all of them now reciting,”give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us of our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.” Suddenly Rebecca gets pushed to hang there dead.”Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Martha is pushed. “For thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen!” Jon is the last to go. This made me think about how great these Christian people were and how they stood to their word. They never let themselves down and always kept God in their hearts. That is what made me love the movie and give it a spectacular rate.

The Crucible

In Salem, 1692, many innocent people were accused of performing witchcraft due to unjust reasons such as greed, revenge, and to save one’s own self. The only way to escape being hanged by your fellow townspeople was to lie, which would ultimately ruin your reputation and life anyway. The movie The Crucible, adapted from the play by Arthur Miller, tried to portray what it must’ve been like for the accused during the Salem witch trials. Even though the movie succeeded in depicting the dull, gloomy setting of Salem, I felt as though the movie itself could have been a lot better. It seemed to me as though scenes were added to the movie just to stretch it out as long as they could, and that, at times, the emotions expressed were overdramatic, which made them seem flat and fake.

Have you ever watched a TV series where there were episodes of it that had absolutely no point to them, and thought to yourself, “Why is this part of the story”? That is exactly how I felt about some of the added scenes to the movie. Some of them, specifically the one where Abigail visited John in his cell and asked him to run away with her, did not progress the story whatsoever, and left me questioning why they bothered adding any scenes at all. The story was fine just as it was in the play, and could have been adapted just as it was for a lot less money and time. So why add them then? The answer I came up with was this- they added extra scenes to milk the play as much as they could, which to me, left it seeming like a dry cow.

The actor Daniel Day-Lewis, John Proctor in the movie, showed quite a bit of emotion in the movie, and at points I felt as though it was simply too much. For example, the scene where John rips up the confession statement and says “I want my name”. I understand putting some emotion into it, but the way that he screamed it made me feel as though it was way too far over the line.

Now some could argue that, since they were faced with such a dramatic situation, such strong emotions are necessary. Now, I do agree that strong emotions are needed in this case, but the way Daniel screamed during certain scenes made it seem to me as though he couldn’t stress an emotion without yelling. In general, I believe he could have done a better job expressing the outrage John felt without making the scenes seem so fake by bellowing like a child.

In conclusion, I did not enjoy the way that unnecessary scenes were added to the movie and the times at which Daniel Day-Lewis over exaggerated some of his lines. Overall, I felt as though the movie did not live up to it’s potential, and, in my opinion, they should have never adapted this into a movie. It was far more satisfying as a play.

By Caitlan C.

I agree that the movie did have scenes that were not needed and that Daniel Day-Lewis did over exaggerate, but this movie was just as good as the play could have been. The hook is strong and the paragraphs tell me about the movie. Shane Clayton

Mission Impossible

No plan, no backup, no choice, a tagline from the movie Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Tom Cruise plays Ethan Hunt an IMF agent who needs to stop a terrorist named Hendricks (Michael) from causing Nuclear War. Ethan Hunt is accompanied by his dear friends and fellow agents Benji Dunn (Pegg), William Brandt (Renner), and Jane Carter (Patton). Mission Impossible: GP shows what live action is all about. The actors show so much energy, while the music makes everything exciting, and the special effects make you want to jump out of your seat.
First of all, you have a legend known as Tom Cruise on your set. He is the king of action, doing his own stunts and making everything come alive. Then you have the supporting crew that added some flare to the movie. You have the beautiful Paula Patton there to give the tough, but sexy look into things. Then you have Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner there to assist Tom on his daredevil stunts. You put these guys together and you have a movie. Without the actors there would of course be no movie.
You can’t have a movie without music and the music in that movie was good. Like when Ethan Hunt was fighting Hendricks there was fast paced music in the background making you jump more when either one of them got a get hit on each other. The music brought out the best in every scene and made things come alive. Also when Ethan was hanging from Dubai’s tallest building, there was very suspenseful music to scare you into thinking he might fall. The music helped me get into the movie and enjoy it to the fullest.
A live action movie like that needs special effects and they were awesome. Jumping off of buildings, explosions, and a sandstorm. What is better than that? The special effects made the movie what it is. Tom Cruises stunts looked even better with the special effects.

It had a good opening and hook. The review had some specific detail about the actors, but it could've used more. More detail about the actual movie would have made the review better. Instead of just saying "The music was good" you could've explained the music and said what made it good. All together it was an okay review but with some more detail it would've been more interesting. - Danielle Melchiorre

I think it was pretty detailed, and i could tell that you enjoyed the movie alot.. - Dharold

The Notebook

In the movie The Notebook Noah said to Allie “I wrote you 365 letters. I wrote you every day for a year.” Not giving up and writing a letter to someone for 365 days shows true love, commitment, and passion; all of these words describe the relationship between Allie and Noah. In The Notebook, characters Allie and Noah met and fell in love at age 17. Torn apart because of their different social classes, Allie and Noah find each other again after Allie see’s Noah in the newspaper. The movie is based on flashbacks, then it shows Allie and Noah together as an elderly couple, and Noah is reading her the story of them. On www.Rottentomatoes.com 52% of the critics liked it, and 85% of the viewers liked it. In my opinion, I say it’s a must see. The Notebook portrays great acting between the actors; you can see the chemistry between them and it makes you feel like they are a real life couple. The music also plays a big role; it sets the mood and gives off the feeling of how that scene should come across. It’s a great love story based on a true story.

Acting is the most important part of a movie, along with many other things. If a couple in a love story seems fake, people will have no emotion while watching the movie. In The Notebook, actors Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosseling play a young couple who are in love. In the movie there were certain scenes where they would be arguing, this shows a real couple. If they didn’t bicker at all they would seem perfect, couples in movies shouldn’t seem perfect unless it’s a fairy tale movie. In the scene when Allie gets caught being out late with Noah and her Mother forbids her from seeing him again, you can see real emotion. She’s arguing with her parents and fighting to stay with him and you can feel the emotion. I also think there was an amazing chemistry between the two actors. On the beach scene you can see chemistry between them by the way they talk to each other and their body language. I also think Allies mother, Anne Himilton, played by Joan Allen was a great actress for the role. She was good at acting cold, and snobby. She showed these in scenes like when she’s taking the letters out of the mail that were supposed to go to Allie and hiding them. In the movie, Gena Rowlands and James Garner play Old Allie and Noah. There was also a great chemistry between them; they showed still having true love after so many years. When Noah is reading Allie the book and she starts to remember their story (she forget everything because of alzeheimers) and you can feel chemistry and see how much they love each other still.
Music plays a big role in every great movie. There was a lot of music in The Notebook. The music reflected the time that the movie was based on; the 1930’s/40’s. Music even brought in the opening scene of the movie. In the opening thing they are at a carnival and it’s when Allie and Noah first meet. It’s a jazzy type of music with saxophones and guitar playing. People would dance and laugh while this music was playing. It set a happy mood for the scene. There are also other types of music played throughout the movie. When Allie and Noah are slow dancing in the street, a kind of romantic song was playing in the background. It was a violin and saxophone sort of 1930’s sound. It gave the mood a romantic feeling. When they show the characters when they’re elderly, Allie can remember anything and Noah is disappointed. A deep piano playing music is playing; it gives off a sad, depressing mood. When Allie is driving away from Noah after they met again; his letters are being read in the background by a narrarator. It was almost the “music” of this scene; it set a cute but almost sad mood.
Some people may argue that this is just a cliché love story. They might say it’s nothing they haven’t heard before; a love story with an ending of the characters being together. Some critics may say the movie was bland and not emotional. Other critics also say that the movie doesn’t set the scene of the 1930’s and 40’s well. I say, this is a very unique love story. In the movie showing them together as an old couple was such a clever idea. It made this love story its own and different from any other story I’ve ever heard. The Notebook is based on a true story, which makes the story even better because you can imagine that this actually happened to a couple at one point in time. Also, the characters die together in the end of the movie. To me, that isn’t a cliché love story. If you think this movie is bland or not emotional, maybe you’re just a cold person or a guy. I will say that this is definitely more of a girl movie. I think the people who are watching this defiantly know what the time period is that the movie is based on; the 1930’s/40’s. The movie isn’t a history movie on this time period, it’s a love story. People watching the movie aren’t focused on the background details of the time period; they’re focused on listening to the love story.
If you’re looking for an amazing love story, I recommend you watch The Notebook. It’s a great story of true love, commitment, and passion. Everything about the movie is great, from the acting to the music which set the scenes. Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosseling were perfect roles for the movie. Fans love it, and so do most of the critics. I say it’s a must see!

The Last Song

In his novel, The Last Song, Nicholas Sparks writes, “Sometimes you have to be apart from people you love, but that doesn't make you love them any less. Sometimes you love them more.” He shows that people can have a strong love for each other even if they’re not side by side all the time, he explains being in a relationship without seeing someone for a while can improve it because, you start to miss each other so much you get an unbearable feeling for them. In the movie The Last Song, Nicolas Sparks captures the intense romance between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. Miley known as Ronnie Miller decides she wants to go to school for a while, while being away she realizes that she has a strong feeling for, Liam Hemsworth known as Will Blakelee. Throughout the movie you get to see a young girl, mature up to a spontaneous young adult.

One of the best things of this movie is the actors. The movie The Last Song would not be the same without Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, they fit the part perfectly. Miley Cyrus being a Disney channel star, and a big hit singer make you fall in love with the way she acts. She connects with young children which this movie is mostly for. Liam Hemsworth fits the part of Will because he is young and knows what it is like to fall in love; he plays the part very well. During the making of the movie, they were seen to be dating each other so it’s easier for them to ask.

The music makes the movie, how so? Well in the movie music plays another big part. Greg Kinnear plays Steve Miller, a pianist who is in love with music. Ronnie being a very good piano player throws her dream of playing away when she moves in with her father. Steve wants her to make music for him, but she refuses. Throughout the movie, they play very emotional parts. One of the biggest music scenes in The Last Song, is when Miley gets back into playing the piano, and writes a song about Liam. The song When I look at you is about her explain her love for Liam. She says everybody needs inspiration; everybody needs a song a beautiful melody when the nights are so long 'cause there is no guarantee that this life is easy. When my world is falling apart, when there's no light to break up the dark that's when I look at you.

The last thing about The Last Song that makes this movie great is the screenplay, and the setting of the movie. The setting of the movie was in a southern beach town. I think that if the setting had been in somewhere else the movie really wouldn’t be that interesting of flow. In the movie, when one of the characters would get mad they would take a long walk along the shore on the beach, watching that makes you wish you were there and how peaceful it is. I think also that being there is a great place for two people to fall in love and start to get to fall into a deep relationship. They would be watching the sunset or looking at the stars alongside of a camp fire playing the guitar, it just warms you heart and fits the acting along with the movie.
I think this was a fairly good review. You had good details and were using specifics. It did seem that you stayed in the same vocabulary throughout the review. Next time I would just advise to use more creative details. show don't tell.

During The Last Song, I think it shows love and hate are two sides of a single coin and being away from someone for so long can create a strong bond of love for two people. It goes over how a normal teenage love would be, you don’t know if that’s what you want or if someone is going to be by your side through the whole thing. It helps explain anything is possible in a relationship if you really are in love with someone. If you try and put your heart out then it can work.

By: Taylor Bompensa

Taylor you worded this perfectly and the way you described their love for each other was great. I would want to go see this movie just because I love love stories. I like the ending because it makes me want to cry :).

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Have you ever seen a extremely great dark twisted movie before? Do you want to? Well The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo is the movie for you. It got 55.6 million dollars in the box office and it well worth seeing. It is such an action packed, brutal, stunning, electrifying movie. There is no way you can blink during this movie. Things go so fast, you sometimes don’t know what is going on. I personal liked this movie a lot. The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo was a very impressive movie because of its great actors who owned their role during the movie and the awesome screenplay that kept you interested.
The actors were really good! How so? They fit the role really good. I was very impressed by how perfect the actors were for the movie. Daniel Craig played a great role. He was journalist with tarnished name. During the movie he needed to keep his head up complete the tasks he needed. That’s really hard to play the villain sometimes. There were times I forgot he was the villain because of how good he was acting towards the people. He played a very determined character. He knew he had a purpose and he went to do it. Co-Star Rooney Mara did a great job playing Lisbeth Salander, a computer hacker. As soon as she came up on the screen you would see this really intense, deep look in her eyes. You immediately want to know her story. She was very straight-forward, took her role seriously. She played a very hard role, and it seemed like she had no issue doing her part in the movie. You can obviously tell the actors did a great job and they really fit the screenplay. I couldn’t imagine anyone one else for they parts they played.
The screenplay in this movie was crazy! Steven Zaillian did great job writing this screenplay, it was so out of the ordinary but it still worked for me. The storyline was journalist, Mikeal Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) was to investgate a rich man missing niece who has been missing for over 40 years and is assumed dead. He gets help from Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara), who is a compter hacker. Together they work together to find out happened to this missing girl. The storyline was so intersting. We all wanted to know what happened to the girl. There was a part in the movie where everyone was on the edge of their seats. Mikeal was in the wood, and suddenly a gun shot pops right behind him and hits a tree, he gets a cut on his head from the grazing of the shot. He runs away and everytime his feet hit the ground, you would hear gun shot. Everyone was stareing at the screen. I didn’t even consider blinking, I knew I was going to miss something. The way that scense was written was beautiful. The screenplay was once again amazing, it could of did away with the sex scence through.
There is two reasons I would understand not enjoying this movie. The sex scences were way to explict, and took to long to get to the climax. Lisbeth Salander was raped at least twice in the movie. The scences didn’t have to go so much in detail. They showed her being tied up and

This Christmas
The 2007 film “this Christmas” is about a traditional African American family coming home for the hollidays, to their mothers home in Los Angeles. The film has what most people would call an all star cast, including singer Chris Brown, and Colombus Short. The movie sounds like a christmas movie, but I believe that it is a good movie to watch anytime of the year. Imdb (internet movie data base) gave the movie 5.4/10 stars, which I think is ridiculous.

The cast of this movie has many great african american actors and actresses, you really get a feeling of family from them. Chris Brown and Colombus Short have been in a film together before acting as family, so im sure it only gets easier. Female characters include Lauren London, Lupe Ontiveros, and Regina King. The Mother roll in the movie is played by Lorretta Devine. So again it really feels like they are a family. This is a great family film; and if you still have not seen it, then I would suggest to. I give it 7/5 out of 10 stars. “It's warm, witty and alive, with a fantastic cast and a belief in its characters that transcends its formulaic tendencies” said the San Francisco Chronicle. “Fandango.com” gave the movie an average score of 63 out of 100. Which isnt horrible but I think it deserves better. It’s a christmas movie to watch all year long.

Because of the fact that i like this movie , i feel as though you could of had a more detailed movie review. It was a good movie and you could have more to say about it. An hour or more longer movie show have more being said about it. Reading this movie review makes it seem like you didnt enjoy the movie. But besides that i liked the movie. - Devin Rowe

This was a great movie !! I feel as though you could have put more details into your essay because it was such a great movie. On a scale from 1-10 I would give you a 6. -Tapria Owens

Spider-Man 3
Do you like a super hero movie with lots of drama, comedy and action? Well this should be the next movie you should watch. This is the third movie in the Spiderman series and is probably the best of all of them. This movie got rated a 6.5 which I think was stupid and was a hit the weekend it came out. Tobey Maguire played as peter parker again and did an outstanding job along with a few of his cast mates Kristen Dunst (Mary Jane), James Franco (Harry), Thomas Haden Church (Flint) and Topher Grace (Eddie). Together this came together to finish the movie in the series.
In this movie, Peter Parker returns as Spiderman who life was getting better for him but more challenges arise for our young hero. Peter's old friend Harry Obsourne has set out for revenge against Peter; taking up the mantle of his late father's persona as The New Goblin, and Peter must also capture Uncle Ben's real killer, Flint Marko, who has been transformed into his toughest foe yet, the Sandman. All hope seems lost when suddenly Peter's suit turns jet-black and greatly amplifies his powers. But it also begins to greatly amplify the much darker qualities of Peter's personality that he begins to lose himself to. Peter has to reach deep inside himself to free the compassionate hero he used to be if he is to ever conquer the darkness within and face not only his greatest enemies, but also himself.
The acting in this movie was amazing. How they played their characters was impressive and I think Tobey Maguire did an exhalent job as peter especially during the aggressive side of his character. Kristen Dunst was also great making her character look believable the entire movie except one part where she looks like she smiling when she supposed to be scared. The acting by the cast overall was fantastic.
This is a great movie and I would really recommend this movie to anyone. - William M.
